Ryden Planning submitted an application to Aberdeenshire Council for the removal of the planning conditions for Deeside Holidays villas in Aberdeen which restricted the occupancy to 6-weeks at any one time.

The Queens Court villa complex previously enjoyed booming trade from holidaymakers who would stay in one of its 42 properties while enjoying the golf course at Inchmarlo Golf Centre. But when Inchmarlo Golf Centre Ltd, separate to the nearby Paul Lawrie Golf Centre, went into liquidation in 2013; the owners of the units have struggled to make ends meet.

The application gained a positive recommendation from the Planning Service and unanimous approval from Councillors at Area Committee, and the Villa owners can now operate their properties unrestricted.
